Our Lightening Horse Necklace is made of wood, beads and leather and comes from the true story of Sonora Webster, a young orphan who learned to ride the beautiful, talented and trusting horse Lightening. During the Great Depression, Sonora trained to become a diving girl. Before a large crowd, Sonora would jump onto Lightening as she galloped up a long, steep platform and leaped out into a small pool of water with Sonora holding on tightly. We hope this necklace brings Courage and Bravery to whoever wears it.
